If you want to get the latest and best stock Android, you will definitely want to check out the latest Android 8.1 Oreo Resurrection Remix ROM, which is an awesome way to experience Android the way it was intended without the Samsung additives. Now, this ROM is an AOSP ROM(What is AOSP?), meaning you won’t be able to run any Samsung TouchWiz native apps like Edge panels. BUT, I absolutely feel the experience is much better on a stock Android like this and battery life/performance is much improved over TouchWiz.

For those of you who want to get all of Galaxy S8/S8 Plus features on your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, we have a Galaxy S8 ROM that you can install called “KhongLoi” ROM.
The KhongLoi ROM is a full Galaxy S8 port, meaning the actual firmware has been “ported” to work on the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge. Now, this ROM will give you pretty much all the software features of Galaxy S8 including Galaxy S8 live Infinity wallpapers, full-working AOD(Always-On Display), navigation soft keys, S8 weather widgets, S8 icons, S8 apps, S8 camera, and much more. There are few things not working such as home button in AOD and few modes in S8 camera but otherwise the ROM works flawless out of the box and will let you enjoy S8 features without upgrading your phone.
If you want to root your Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge on latest Android 7.0 Nougat, you will want to use the Magisk root method, which allows you to “hide” root from apps that check for SafetyNet such as Android Pay, Pokemon Go (or any Nintendo games on Play Store), and Snapchat. This will allow you to seamlessly use all of your favorite rooted apps such as Titanium Backup app while allowing you to use apps that check for root.
In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to root your T-Mobile Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge on latest Android 7.0 Nougat. Now, this root method will not trip KNOX and will disable your Samsung Pay but it IS REVERSIBLE by simply unrooting with a stock firmware.
For this root method, you will need a Windows computer!
